One range, from calf starter to the 10000 milking grade
Milk is made in the rumen. Every Rusted Silo cattle ration balances energy, bypass protein, minerals and live yeast culture so more of each kilogram of feed becomes litres in the pail — not dung in the shed.
- Batch-tested at every stage, antibiotic-free and licensed manufacturing.
- Feeding rate printed on every bag — 400 g per litre of milk as the working rule.
- Breed-wise dosing for HF, Jersey, crossbred and buffalo on the same shelf.

QUICK ANSWERS
What farmers ask first
For HF and crossbred cows giving 12 litres and above, start with HF Special or Milking Grade 9000 at 400 g per litre of milk. Hold the ration steady for two weeks — yield responds to consistency first.
About 4 kg a day of Milking Grade 8000, on top of green fodder and dry roughage. That is the bag’s printed 400 g per litre rule, and it works for most HF, Jersey and crossbred cows.
About 6 kg a day at the same printed rate — step up to Milking Grade 9000 so the extra energy comes with enough bypass protein to hold fat and SNF.
Buffaloes do better on Buffalo Special, dosed slightly richer at 500 g per litre. The cattle grades work in a pinch, but fat percentage holds better on the buffalo ration.
Calf Starter 8000 from the first week, Calf Grower 8500 after four months, and Dry Cow Ration through the last two months of pregnancy. Never feed a milking grade to a dry cow — she will put on fat, not milk.
